Pattern Genomics (Madison, CT) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC, Altanta, GA) will jointly present their research entitled “Development of a Subtyping Assay for Direct Detection and Targeted Sequencing of Shiga toxin-producing Escherichia coli (STEC) from Clinical Samples” at the 1st ASM Conference on Rapid Next-Generation Sequencing and Bioinformatic Pipelines for Enhanced Molecular Epidemiologic Investigation of Pathogens, taking place in Washington, DC on September 24-27, 2015. The research highlights Pattern Genomics’ ability to rapidly find multi-marker signatures of complex pathogen subtypes such as shiga-toxin producing E. coli and create practical molecular diagnostics in a seamless workflow.
